There is one thing about the top I suggest changing. You have a full inch of space between the top of the triple-wall pipe and the top of the spark arrestor. I understand that the space is for ventialation but it is too big of a gap. Water can blow in a 1" space and cause problems. Also bats and birds can enter quite easily and build nests inside. Please change that for the future.

After searching for this product for monoths, I bought this stove cap online and talking to a very knowledgeable salesperson on the other end it was shipped to me. The craftsmanship was very well done, and upon receiving the stove cap, from the box to the stove pipe I found it to be a pefect fit. Great Chimney Cap and Service!

I contacted a specialist to replace a damaged chimney cap, but was told they have to come to the house to inspect and clean the chimney before replacing the cap. When the specialist finished cleaning the chinmey and presented me with a bill, he stated he could not replace the cap because the model was old and no longer made. The cap replaced our rooster tail cap. This cap didn't load up with creosote as the other cap. This cap installed easily and works as advertised. Very happy with our purchase. Shipping time was excellent.

Great product , fast shipping, best price on internet. It was the only cap I could find to fit my 1981 Majestic triple wall air cooled pipe. 34 years of burning wood had caused it to begin to disintegrate The new unit is shorter than the old Majestic but it functions just fine, and since it is made out it stainless it should last my lifetime!

I had a difficult time finding a cap that would fit an older three pipe system . I needed an odd size chimney cap (8 1/2) inch. I contacted woodland direct and the staff was very knowledgable and helpful. They had one in stock which I purchased and it fit perfectly with complete ease of installation. 12" cap for fireplace

Outstanding product. Easy installation. On the 12" model there is a parts change over that isn't noted in the instructions. The metal hoop is replaced by metal tubes on the outside of the cage. Also, metal screws are not included with the chimney cap. For fireplace installation silicon calking probably isn't a good idea. Just push it into the chimney pipe and use the metal screws thru both pipes. Done!

Price not bad. But i will have to do some adjustments on it to make it fit. My chimney is 8'' on inside with a outside dim, of 10'' with little slots where my old cap slid down on to and turned just a little to lock it on.The one i got has a 8'' dim., and will have to fit on the inside of my chimney and i will have to put some kind of sealer on it to keep water out. What i do like about it is it was made in the USA and seems to be made of long lasting material.

The price was a little high, but shipping was fast and the part was a perfect fit easily installed. Kept me from having to replace the whole Amerivent chimney. Quality seems good but wont really know until it gets some age .

Pipe Cap Replacement

Purchase was to replace a incorrectly installed and damaged cap pipe cap on a vacation home I purchased. The new cap installed easily but snuggly which was a big help on a very steep roof. Cap appears to be excellent quality, shipped undamaged, and in timely manner. The installed bird guard is a must on the model I purchased.

Weathershield Chimney Cap for Air Insulated Pipes

My chimney cap rusted out, replaced it with one from Woodland. Installed super easy, seems tight. My old one was a little different style, had 3 screws around the outside that went through brackets into the outer flue. This was easier to install, insert went deep enough I don't think our south Texas wind will blow it off. We haven't had any rain in months so I can't say how it will do with shedding water but it's a large enough diameter it should be fine. All in all I'm pleased, only time will tell if I stay that way but I think I'll continue to be pleased with it.

Devon assisted me with the selection of this model. It was certainly easy enough to install although I thought the support pieces could have been a little stiffer. Just rotating the cap to get it down on the pipe would blend the "legs". Easy enough to correct, however, so not a major issue. The supports for the center plate were also not very stiff. Apparently in shipping, they got bent a little and the plate wasn't parallel with the top and bottom. It was bent enough to be noticeable, so I had to readjust the supports. Overall I am quite satisfied with this purchase.
