The grate fit the angle of the fireplace great and the smaller spaces make it able to use smaller pieces of wood for a shorter burning fire. It's well made and looks good. Service was fast and delivery was prompt w everything boxed well. Definitely Recommend. Actually my decorator is buying my gas logs also as here as they r realistic w excellent flames.

Looks solid

Need this for an older Franklin Stove made in the 1980's. Will not be able to use it until this spring so cannot comment on durability. However, it matches the sizes of old grate I have to replace. Nice and heavy, looks solid and durable. Web site comments helpful on deciding to purchase this item.

My dad had an old wood stove in his garage in which the grate needed to be replaced. It was oddly shaped due to the contour of the fireplace. We knew if we bought it from the local vendor that it would cost an arm & leg. So we decided to do some hunting and found this site that had this grate. Long story short , perfect fit. Very pleased!!

Fireplace grate

We are very happy with the grate. We have a 30+ year old Ashley insert and needless to say we have burnt out at least 3 grates over the years. We were so happy to find Woodland's website and the very grate we were looking for. It is exactly like the grate that came with our insert years ago. The delivery time was great also - got it in about 3 days after ordering. In fact we were so happy to find what we needed we ordered another one as a spare.

Woodland Fire Grate

Nice product but....

Grate was decently made casting but packing totally sucked. They just toss it in a box with no corner bracing or padding. Legs broke through box and one leg was broken off when received. They sent a new one but still packed the same way. You cant put 10lbs in a 2lb rated box!
