Uptown Fire Pit

The fire pit looks great but I am disappointed at how difficult it is to light. The first few times, it lit right away with the ignitor. After that, it now takes several tries before it lights.

The unit arrived in great shape, packaged very well; well constructed and looks great too. BUT, BUT, BUT......the flame is about 60% less than what the marketing materials indicate. Using the NG # 31 orifice listed on the Mfg Plate enclosed with this unit produced ZERO flame...plenty of heat, but no flame. Using the NG # 21 orifice that was also enclosed is producing a flame, but not at all impressive, which is very unfortunate. I would highly recommend the vinyl cover as this unit will likely weather quickly. I also suggest the glass cover, but $85.00 seems excessive. Everything about this fire pit table is a 5 except the most important item....the flame.

Awesome Fire Pit

We recently added a Trex deck and pergola to our home and created a really nice outdoor entertainment space. One thing we wanted to add, even in the planning stages, was a gas fire pit on one end of the deck. After months of researching and on-line shopping, I finally decided to order the Uptown Gas Fire Pit Table from Woodland Direct. I called and spoke with a very helpful sales representative who answered all of my preliminary questions and concerns then placed the order. It took about 2 weeks or more for the fire pit table to arrive by common carrier. We knew it was heavy (a little over 400 pounds) so we were prepared to have help to move the fire pit from curbside to our deck. It has taken a couple of weeks to get it put together, installed to gas (we used an adapter and hooked it up to natural gas), and functional. IT IS AWESOME! It looks great and burns with a beautiful flame. I am very pleased that I spent the extra money to buy this product. A couple of notes: It is very heavy and comes in pieces so you really need some strong help to assemble it. Once you get it put together, do not plan to be "moving it around." The instructions are really not for an amateur (my husband has plumbing experience and construction experience) so plan to enlist the aid of an expert to put it together.

Review

The table arrived in perfect condition and is awesome! The details and real beauty is not completely depicted in the pictures. Initially we thought it was too pricey, however, it is worth every cent. It's beautiful!
