I ordered the Smart Holder which works just as described. The whole process with WoodlandDirect was very smooth. Only complaint wouild be that upon arrival from shipping, the box was turn to shreds and would have been impossable turn return had it been necessary.

This design of the Smart Holder is amazing. This will be a tool that lasts a lifetime and probably will be passed on to my son for many more years of use. It's easy to use, has a very good paint job which will keep it looking good for a long time, and it does the job as advertised. I'd seen these on YouTube and mine didn't disappoint when I used it myself. If you cut wood for the fireplace or BBQ smoker, you should get one.

When loading large pieces (8") into the holder, it is advantageous to use a stand approximately 2 ft. tall to position the non - held end of the log before putting the log into the holder.

Smart-Holder Saw Horse Holder

I had stumbled across a u-tube video from Sweden demonstrating the Smart Holder Saw Horse Holder and it looked like a solution to a problem I was experiencing and that was that I often had no one to help me use my chainsaw. Within a few searches on the internet, I found that I could order this saw horse from WOODLAND DIRECT. I purchased and received the sawhorse promptly and began using it immediately. What a wonderful surprise, the Smart Holder worked just like the video showed. I am one happy satisfied customer and have already recommended the saw horse to several friends. Thanks for a useful and dependable product.

First of all, since you did not identify your score numbers, I presume 5 is the highest, which was my intention. Secondly, since I just received the sawbuck a few days ago, this review is a tad premature. Everything I have read about it is top notch. Therefore I presume my trial run a little later on will be spot on.

Great Tool

I am fairly new to chain sawing, and was struggling to find an easy way to single handedly break down the logs that I was getting. Saw this smart holder, and thought - why not. I am very glad that I did. Setup is extremely easy, and it makes cutting longer logs down to size a breeze. Changing the size of the logs to be held by the holder is very easy, and makes for a much safer and easier on the back chainsaw experience.

This thing is awesome! Saves my back from constantly being bent over while cutting firewood. Well designed, easy to use straight out of the box.

I am well satisfied with my smart holder. I wanted to adjust the holder and found out that it is idiot proof. It will only go on one way. Smart! Made for people like me. This device will keep my chain saw away from the ground. I am pleased and would recommend it to others.
