The Sierra Birch Vented Gas Log Set is a vented ceramic log set that are designed to reflect high mountain birch and quaking aspen logs that could easily have come from the closest ski slope. These logs are smooth yet textured bark is highlighted with hand-tinting. These logs have a unique seven-step coloring process and detailed mold-making methods that make them natural looking that they defy detection as artificial. This vented log set is for single-face fireplaces and this kit is rugged, beautiful, dramatic and realistic that they speak for themselves.

PLEASE NOTE: When selecting a remote, a nearby source of power is required in order to connect a USB cord from the burner system. Product does not include an adjustable control. Additionally, The appearance of these logs will change significantly in as little as one burn. Carbon buildup or "sooting" occurs with all gas log burners, but can appear more significant on the light finish of faux birch logs.

Birch logs
Only had these for a short time, they look really good. 1 log was cracked on delivery and was replace quickly after sending a picture to Woodland Direct, customer service was very good. Burned the logs maybe 4 times and 3 logs cracked!!!! Contacted customer service again and submitted pictures, although I was not contacted by phone as I requested I did get an email response and received new logs in just a few days. I have lit the fireplace for about 2 hours so far and no cracks... I hope they stay together as they really are a great looking batch of logs. If I can I will post a review of them in the future. 3/18/2012 P.S, customer service has been very good to me just wish I didn't have to use them.

Customer service is very good. Shipped in a timely manner. However, when it was delivered, the boxes wear torn and sand was pouring out onto my porch. The packaging is very poor. One of my logs is cracked all the way around, forcing me to hide it in the back of the display. I would buy the same unit, but look for another distributor. I was very disappoint in how this product was shipped.
Beautiful Birch Log Set
Wow. What a beautiful log set. Very realistic looking. Exactly what I was looking for. As they burn, they collect a natural looking soot on the logs wherever a flame 'laps' up adding to the realistic look. I would buy these again.

the log set looks great in our fireplace & it appears to be working fine (only used it once so far). The only thing that is odd is in the picture it looks like 6 logs & we only received 5. Not sure how many were supposed to be in the box. Was not clear in description.

Not very good. One larger log cracked when I received..install instructions not very clear. After Koch adjustment got it to look ok. They do not give enough embers

We really like the Sierra Birch log set. I was very pleased with the customer satisfaction from Woodland. One of the logs had been damaged in shipping and they immediately replaced the log without any hassles. Good Job Woodland.

Beautiful set up!
I originally received only three logs, I contacted customer service and they were on top of it immediately. Customer service is fantastic. The logs look like the real deal. Would give 10 stars!
