This tool set is a good size and fits very nicely on our hearth. It does not look big and bulky, even though it is made of heavy weight iron. Above average quality for the price.

Fireplace set had one leg that was over an inch off floor while the other 3 legs rested. This caused massive wobbling and made stand unusable. Also, I do not like the handle system on the log grabber as it is not very ergonomically designed. It should have two separate, comfortable handles.

excellent fire-tools. Heavy, but not too heavy, well made, going to be durable. The best part was that the stand wasn't too wide, so it didn't take up too much space but it was sturdy and well balanced. Average price but the rapidity of delivery made up for that. I only wish I'd bought the wood holder too.

Received it in record time. Well made set except for the straw dust broom it started shedding on the first use. I don't think it will last very long.

Use it every day

Bought our first ever wood stove so we had to buy everything. Was originally going to buy a short handled set, also cast. We are so grateful we purchased this. It is well built -- solid. The longer handles have saved us. It is very handsome yet simple. It is a solid value. We are glad of this purchase and so far this website has been a godsend. Poor Quality

Poor quality wrought iron, flimsy. Just a little pressure on the shovel and the hinge bends, The brush/broom bristles fall off every time you sweep
