Arrived with scrathces and marks all around the edges and in the wood. I should have returned it. Works OK but does not look new. Disappointed.

I bought it mostly to complete my fireplace toolset. The bellows Look good and put out a decent amount of air. I used the bellows to re-ignite a couple end pieces that had fallen off the grate. Once I had the end pieces piled together, it was easy to re-ignite them and burn them up completely.

I assume 1 is unhappy and 5 is delighted. The bellows had a small crack along one side. It had been such a challenge to find bellows and the crack did not negatively affect their performance so we just turn them over so the crack does not show.

We gave the Bellows to our son and family in Anchorage ... they are thrilled with it; called immediately they opened the package and then later when they used it. In later telephone calls they again mentioned the Bellows. It is a beautiful piece of furniture.

The picture on line is a little misleading. The handle is not as curved nor does it give you as much room for your fingers when grasping the bellows. It is a little stiff to use. I hope use and proper oiling of the leather (if it is real leather) will help with that. A little largely for a 18" log fireplace. Will be interesting to see how it holds up.
