Fireplace Tool Set
Two things I'd like to comment on (and am assuming that a 5 is the highest rating).....First the tool set itself. We had been looking for a fireplace tool set in a contemporary style. We found a few, but with each one we discovered that tools themselves were very light and flimsy. This set has the style we were looking for and the tools are really sturdy and have a nice weight to them - I feel like they will last a very long time. My second comment is to praise the customer service at Woodland Direct. The first set we recieved had a manufacturing defect. I called Woodland Direct to report this and without hesitation or question they not only placed an order for a new set, but arranged for pickup of the old set at no charge to me. I have been very pleased with the whole experience and would absolutely purchase from them again.
Delivery condition
The box was wrecked when it got here. However, the set is great (a 5), so it worked out and my daughter had a great Christmas gift.

timeless elegance
This is a wonderfull piece. Very well crafted, but still modern and elegant. It fits perefctly in our contemporary home.
So-So
The product itself seems reasonably well made. The finishes however are not. The base had several large paint chips. The base will need to be sanded down and resprayed. One of the silver handles has some mar on the finish that I can't remove. We have to hang that tool in such a way as the poor finish is to the back.
