We found out about "gas log inserts" when makling some basic enquiries on options for retrofitting our zero clearance fireplace with a gas burner. We did not want a full scale construction project and therefore were very pleased to find the Peterson product. Searching on line we found the Woodland Direct site and decided to call. We have to express our gratitude to Paul Grishkevich who patiently answered all our silly questions and helped us order our insert - excellent client service. The unit arrived without delay and has been installed now for over a month. We are extremely satisfied with it - its ease of use, how realistic it looks, that we can have a fire (which we have often) without having to lug wood in from the garage, and we can put it on even if we have to go out later (which we would not have done with a wood fire, not wanting to leave it burning) By the way, our neighbours saw ours and have also ordered a similar unit - once again very much pleased with Paul's help and ther insert. This gas log set is extremely well made, looks incredibly like a real wood fire, helps to warm our room, and is so welcoming! We are very happy with our purchase! Wish we would have made the decision long ago!

Excellent product

Initially ordered 24 inch sent by my mistake. Company quickly provided service by shipping the original order back to them and shipping me a new order correct size 18 inches. Stalled in the product works perfectly as advertised. Excellent quality.

My husband and I are very pleased with our new gas log set. I can’t say enough about the quality service we received from Woodland Direct when I ordered it. My husband installed it himself with the help of the instruction manual, and together we were able to stack the logs as directed. I can’t wait till our winters gives us good reason to use it. All's well that ends well!

Our logs arrived on time and well packaged. The install went well until the very end when our contractor could not get the control valve to open and close with the remote control. End result, the control valve was faulty. Woodland Direct sent us a replacement control valve that once installed works fine. They were true to their word and credited back to us the cost of our contractor replacing the valve. Our logs now work great and are Beautiful!

Great product and customer service!

This gas log set is amazing! I can believe how real it looks and how much heat it puts out. We enjoy it very much. Much better than a gas insert.
