Vented Gas Log Set

Adding a den to existing house. In need of vented gas logs. Desire small set. Can you send information to the above for a 16" or 18" set. Also, does fire box come with set along with everything that is needed such as the ceramic brick inside the fire box. Thank you so much.

They are not what I expected. They make a loud noise when they are on. We can't watch TV with the logs burning. Our old log set did not make the noise. We are not happy with them at all. I would not recommend them to anyone.

When I considered getting a gas fireplace, I was not sure where to go. I have been absolutely thrilled with the Woodland Direct people and product. After I ordered the necessary parts, I thought about it all night and finally decided - no I wanted to change my mind and purchase the door with a small amount of brass trim, rather than a plain black one. Great product logs have a real look and the installation was simple the flame has a real fire affect and the pine cones and accord gave it an added effect I would recommend buying this product

This experience was top notch from start to finish. We love our new gas log set. The set came very well packed with thick cardboard. Everything was in great shape when we unpacked it. Received the log set very quickly, a few days earlier than expected. Installation was easy and the performance is excellent. I purchased the Manual Safety Pilot Kit. My only concern is the valve is very close to the fire. I hope it doesn't overheat. There is a heat shield and so far there have been no issues. Time will tell. I purchased over the phone and the salesman recommended purchasing two 10 lb bags of lava rock to cover the floor of the fireplace. It measures 21" (back width) X 36" (front width) X about 23" deep. One bag was enough so I purchased an extra bag I don't need. My only complaint is the pilot is loud. If the grandchildren aren't visiting the house is quiet and it can be heard even outside the living room. But if the TV is on it isn't noticeable. Looking forward to years of enjoyment.

As someone who has installed hundreds of gas logs over the years, I and the customer were thrilled with these logs. You get more than what you pay for with these. The kit is essentially all inclusive. However, not a bad idea to have a 90 degree elbow on hand for certain applications as these only come with straight connectors which can make shaping the flex connector a little difficult. Logs up close you can tell they use a cheaper paint otherwise standing in front of the fireplace you'd think these were designer logs.
