Product Details

As a sculptural accent in what is traditionally the natural focal point of a home, a fireback not only radiates heat and light back into the room, but it also adds interest and visual warmth to the hearth. Whether enjoying the fireback by light of a roaring fire or by candlelight, each one tells a story all its own. Firebacks are shipped with a water base black paint to prevent rust build up during transit. To give a brighter finish to the fireback and to protect the casting from rust after use with a fire, an application of water base graphite stove polish is recommended. Applied with a toothbrush or rag, this paste, when dry, can be polished with a wire brush or rag giving the fireback an attractive silverfish sheen.
