Iron Hearth Center Review

I am so glad bought this wood stand. It is very sturdy and looks real good. I have been looking for a new one for a long time and finally found what I was looking for.

Sturdy Craftsmanship

This indoor wood holder is great. Slightly smaller that what I pictured, but once the logs are in it it looks perfect. A great fit for out wood-burning stove area! Can hold about 18 pieces of wood (stacked to the top - not including underneath).

Very nice for the money. Has to be put together, but was easy. Fast shipping.

Looks great next to the new mirage see-thru fireplace also recently bought. Its quite handy with the ability to store logs.

Old World Iron Hearth Center

This is a good fire rack. It is very attractive and the tools are nice looking and durable. I bought a home improvement store tool set a year ago for $80.00 and it seems it was more for decoration than use. The shovel broke and the broom melted. The only issue I have is I use pressed logs and they only measure 6" long. There is no rail support between the front frame and the back frame. As I tried to stack the logs they kept rolling off the sides. I was able to fix this with two pieces of aluminum tubing. I cut them to the same height as the outer frame, and with a little black and grey spray paint I matched them to the color of the rack. I then screwed them to the middle of the rack. Now there is a rod on either side going up the middle of the rack. Now I can stack 21 logs on the fire rack. Looks great and functions great too. The underneath area is a great spot to hide a blower fan for products like the Spitfire Fireplace Heater.

It works as advertised. A little pricey for the chinese workmanship.

Iron Hearth Center

Arrived very quickly and assembled in a breeze. Fits very nicely in the corner and arranges our tools which were leaning on the fireplace, the wall, the TV stand. Very Happy with this item.

Had to order replacement

The first one we received was welded crooked so we had to order a replacement. Very attractive, works well for our smaller hearth.

Wood Stand & Tools

The stand is good missing a nut upon opening but I have tons of those. The tools are adequate a bit shorter than I anticipated, and the broom fell apart after the first use. Not sure I would buy if I would have seen it in person first.

This is a nicely constructed and well designed piece for the fireplace. Holds a good amount of wood in addition to fireplace utensils. It is compact and much more user friendly than our prior wood box.

Love this log holder. Perfect for small spaces. Very sturdy and holds a lot of logs. I gave it a 4 because the brush falls apart very easily.

It's Great!

I purchased fireplace accessory tool set that also holds firewood and love it! It was fairly priced and on a special for free shipping. Easy to put together and looks great. It's a nice way to pile some wood and have the tools all neatly by your fireplace.

Overall the quality of the hearth center is fine. The broom is not attached to the handle and it twists when one tries to use it. I would recommend this product.

All-in-on fire tools and wood holder

If 5 is the top score, that is what I would give this item. It was easy to put together, is very sturdy, and looks great. I'm very happy with it and thrilled I purchased it. The only thing that would have made it better was if it had been Made in America.

tools are great and stand is real good. only problem is rolled up paper falls out side of rack if not placed perfecdtly in. when you pull one paper out the rest falls out of side.

Fireplace set

Nice looking set. Locking nut heads stripped off immediately but not a really big deal. Wish the shelf fit a little better, too. Overall, however, I like the set.

NIce Rack

Rack is sturdy, and fits a fair amount of wood near the fireplace without taking up too much floor space. Easy to assemble, and decent finish quality.

Review

This is a very nice rack and tools. The tools are very sturdy, one-piece so nothing to come loose or unscrewed like tools I've had in the past. The only complaint is the broom bristles come off but hopefully with time that will stop.
