Decent set
This is a heavy, compact fireplace set that has a fairly industrial look. The poker works well and the "tongs" are OK. The biggest disappointment in the set is the broom. It sheds bristles continually and when I get time, I'm going to remove all the stock bristles and replace them with bristles from a real broom bristles. Not what you should have to do for $300

I researched many sets prior to ordering the "Old World Toolset". The product arrived in a severely damaged box (completely open at one end), upside down, even with instructions on the box showing right-side up. The one top 'spoke' on which the broom hangs was so bent that the broom would fall to the center. This could not be repaired/bent straight. As this was a gift and there was no time to exchange, I had no choice but to give it as is. But, I will think twice before ordering from Woodland Direct again.
Low Quality Not Like Picture
I just unwrapped the tools and could not believe my disappointment. The old world tool set is not like the picture at all. Very low quality and very thin metal loops, broom actually had grass seeds wrapped in straw. - not worth the $400 I paid for it. The Chinese manufacturers might be cutting corners. Going to contact them tomorrow to return.
