We bought this as a house warming gift for our daughter and her husband. They have only used it once but it looks like it's going to be a good conervation piece and a good way to get some moisture in air. So far it's great. It doesn't say if a score of 5 is high or if 1 is high. I am giving this the highest score which is hopefully a 5.

this steamer is very very nice we are enjoying it ,its very heavy BUT well made I have had other steamers that ive paid more for and dont stand up to this one ,only thing I dont like is some detail should have like a white paint to bring out the cabin more ,and I will do my self

Very nice piece and bigger than I imagined.

This steamer looks nice, holds a lot of water, and is heavy duty. A pan on the stove works better for humidifying, but a pan doesn't look as nice. I like this item!

Wonderful heavy duty product - holds about a half gallon of water and steam comes out of the chimney in a lovely rustic fashion. 3 piece assembly fits together well and is easy to fill even when it is hot.

Very attractive steamer. Looks nice on the wood stove. Adds a nice touch. And the 3 quart size is much better than the smaller units. Which most other steamers are smaller insize and capacity. Therefore you don't have to fill so often. BUT - forget about seeing the steam come up out of the chimney like smoke. It doesn't happen. Big disappointment. But overall a very nice unit. And Woodland Direct ships it fast and well packaged.

Wow! What a cold winter up in Vermont this year. We never have used our Heartstone stove as much until this year. We decided to buy this log cabin steamer for our stove and have gotten many positive remarks. It not only looks pretty cool, but serves its purpose keeping our log home very comfortable keeping moisture in the air! Our temp. outside is currently -10 degrees, Spring can't come soon enough!

Highly functional, well made, beautiful, but pricey. Holds 1/2 gallon of water, and a little difficult to refill. Would recommend using distilled water to eliminate the buildup of mineral deposits on the well porcelain interior. It looks great on our wood stove, and the steam really pours out the chimney. Made totally of cast iron so it is quite heavy. It comes in three parts. Except for the price, we could not be happier!

I am really happy with my purchase. The only critical comment I have is that I wish that I could get the hard water lines off easier. I use dish soap daily but it doesn't get the bowl as clean as I would like. Other than that one thing, I'm a happy cabin housewife!
