Cable

The cable was necessary because of the chimney design and flue. It was easy to cut and place.

Cable Shield

This is a must in a 2 stage chimney. Hard to locate anywhere else. Great delivery and wonderful service.

Perfect Solution

After just having a new Lyemance chimney damper installed, I noticed that the stainless steel cable made 2 bends just above the firebox. My concern was that over time, the cable would wear and eventually break so being proactive, I purchased and installed this shield which totally solved the problem. Customer service was very helpful.

4’ cable shield?

The 4’ shield is a joke with a cable that is 30 feet long. I’m going to buy some bicycle cable outer cover w/o the vinyl coating to make it work for my multiple chummy curves over 12 feet.
