Top quality, exceeded expectations.

Almost perfect

Great heavy duty cast iron grate. After doing much research I found this as the best option for my fireplace size. Was a great price and free shipping if order over $99. Woodland direct has great prices and ships quickly. Only complaint is that I wish it had an ember retainer. The grate has pretty narrow spacing that doesn't let medium embers through, but once they are a little smaller than a golf ball they will fall below into the ashes. Overall pleased and would recommend this product.

So far so good!

We have yet to light a fire in our new outdoor fireplace in our California central coast back yard (waiting for,the final city sign off), but this grate is exactly the right size, sturdy as can be....and delivered very quickly! Looking forward to some cozy evenings! Thank you!

Great Grate!

Quick arrival. Free shipping. Very good product. Just used 3 times but it fits my fireplace better than any I've had before. Time will tell about the lifetime promise but I will follow instructions and keep track of the warranty. So far WAY good.

Great Grate!

This grate is perfect for our large fireplace. It fills most of the fire box so we can have big roaring fires. It is heavy enough that it doesn’t budge when I throw a big log on. It’s brand new so I don’t know how long it will last but for now it is the best grate we’ve ever owned.

We were in desperate need of a large grate and the lifetime guarantee was a major deciding factor. Very heavy, very solid - after years of having grates burn through in the middle, we're enjoying a whole grate again. Wonderful that it's Made in USA as well.

Heavy duty, strong center support

Very well made, super thick steel with super strong center support. I have a large fireplace where I burn large chunks of wood and stumps. The original grate burned through and collapsed in the center. Looking forward to another burn season next year with the woodland product. I will say the box and packaging it came in was not up to the task. The legs of the product busted through the box in 3 places. No damage to the grate at all, but I feel bad for the boxes underneath it that probably got damaged. Might need a better shipping solution for large 36" products.

Amazing Fit

Was amazed at how well the 36" grate fit the fireplace. These are super heavy duty and very well made. Customer Service was amazing when FedEx lost the package and quickly sent a replacement. Looking to pick up many other items from Woodland for the new house.

Amazing Fit and Customer Service

Just wanted to share a picture and say thank you to the Woodland Direct team. The 36" great fit perfectly in my new custom built fireplace and is made very well. Super heavy duty to last a long time. I ordered a second one for the basement fireplace as well. The only issue I had was with FedEx delivery but the Woodland team was quick to ship a replacement grate for one they lost. No hassles at all. Thanks again and I look forward to ordering my fireplace accessories from Woodland as well.

Fireplace grate

I love the grate but the lifetime warranty is ridiculous. Make the legs longer if you won't warranty that grate if the coals reach the bottom of the grate. The warranty is worthless and you don't know this until you receive the product. Bait switch
