Looks great on my contemporary fire pit.

Fire Glass

I purchased this glass and some varying shades of blue glass to fill my outdoor fire pit and they are really beautiful. The cuts of the glass are actually better than the pictures show, and they look awesome during a big blaze. I get lots of compliments on our fire pit and have recommended this fire glass to many of my friends. I would definitely buy more in the future.

Fire Glass

I recently purchased 185lbs of Krystal Fire - Fire Glass - 1/2"-1" Turquoise Ice, 10 lbs of Krystal Fire - Fire Glass - 1/2"-1" Black, and 10 lbs of Krystal Fire - Fire Glass - 1/2"-1" Blue Ice to put in my fire pit that was being constructed at the time I found Woodland Direct. I found Woodland Direct on a Friday and my firepit was to be completed on Tuesday and I guests arriving on Tuesday afternoon. I called and and spoke with Mark in customer service. I told him of my dilemma about getting the glass by tuesday and he completely worked with me. He told me that if I ordered it he would do everything in his power to get it to me on time..................and HE DID! Mark you are such an assett to Woodland Direct! Not only did I receive the glass on time, it was exactly as pictured , and the most reasonably priced of every web site and building supply place! My firepit looks awesome and the glass is a very good quality!! Thank You Mark and Woodland Direct!...........You have my bussiness for life and if I hear of anyone looking for fire glass I will refer them to you!!1

This glass is nice but maybe a little to big for our application.The smaller glass works better to dissipate the flames.This is really good as filler.

Cracked/starting popping within 15 seconds of the start of the fire.

Working with Woodland Direct

During my last project (4ft x 8ft fire pit) Woodland Direct supplies me with extra large black fire rock. The free shipping made the cost very competitive. When I ended up 20 pounds short on my 150 pound orginal order (my error not theirs), I recieved great turn around at the same low price. What else is there to say!

White cloudiness

These stones looked great, until you lite the fire, then they have a white cloudiness to them that won't go away unless they are wet. Not very happy with the product, at least they were cheap.

Use many bags for a contempo look -or- sprinkle a single bag sparingly on top of another medium for an interesting and updated woodsy outdoor look.
