Just received the bracket kit. easy to put together and solid as a rock. Great item. I also like the three firewood racks I received from you last year. They are great. I kept two of them and gave my son the third (with cover). Super items! I have them in my garage...easy to clean under them and they really look nice with the fire wood in them.....I'm happy as a clam!

I have 4 of the older design where you have to drill through the 2 X 4's and then use a long bolt & nut to secure them. The newer design is much easier to assemble. A major flaw in the product is the short length of the drywall screws included in the package. I had to replace several with 1 5/8" drywall screws in order to secure them. I suspect part of the issue has to do with the softness of the pine. Had I used treated wood, the shorter screws might have been sufficient. Ocerall, nice product.

I forgot to mention in my previous review that I like the fact that the vertical board spacing is the same as the horizontal.

Love them! Very easy set up. I'm using them outside to stack wood to dry for the winter and had no problems using treated 2 x 4's with them. Very glad I bought three sets and will probably buy more next year again.

Ordered 2 kits and they were easy to use. Was hoping for something a bit heavier duty, but these seems to work fine so far. But keeps wood stacked fine.

Very good product

I was pleased with this product. I cut the 2x4's to have a 6' wide by 4' high wood rack. Easy assembly. My only recommendation would be that the manufacturer provide more screw holes in the brackets. The 2x4's wobble just a bit, which would likely be solved by the capability to use a few more screws. Still, a very economical choice for a firewood rack.

Hard to assemble alone but once done seems sturdy enough. Is very inexpensive, so you get what you pay for.

Product received was as advertised. Good quality and easy to assemble. I used long, heavy duty decking screws instead of what came in the package. I also cross-braced the bottom of each vertical post. Now, very strong and should improve life. Good product.

Very nice product, although a little heavier gage might be even better. Good alternative to more expensive racks, especially if wood will be under cover.

This worked out great. It only holds about 1/2 cord wood. I did purchase three extra 2x4's. One for extra support and two to modify the base length to hold my smaller 14" logs. I used stained pressurized 2x4's so it looks good and should hold up well for many Wyoming winters.

Excellent kit...just purchase 2 - 2"x4"x8's and cut them in half and the end uprights are ready, Purchase 2 - 2"x4"x10' beams and you have a rack 10' long. Simple to put together. Use PT 2x4's and you have a long term support system. Go For It.

After looking at different racks to hold our firewood, we decided to get this kit to make our own rack. By using this bracket kit we were able to customize the rack to the size we needed. We bought 2x4's had them cut to the size we wanted. Assembling was quick and easy. Highly recommend this for those that don't want to spend lots of money on an outdoor firewood rack .

Not as shown in picture. Not enough screw holes. Uprights have to be reinforced.Idea is good, just needs some tweaking.

THis product must be extensively braced to hold any weight.The screws provided are inadequate.It was much more involved than if the unit were well made and thought out.It might be good for a four foot length as it comes-that's about it.

Received the braces on-time and found the design to be creative and the quality of the metal to be excellent. Very easy to assemble and they are already in use. I am pleased I went with this product as the ability to customize the length and height of the wood rack was important to me.

I live in Maine where we cut, split, store, and burn a lot of wood. I've employed many types of wood racks and these have been excellent from a cost, function, and setup standpoint. Stacking higher than four feet does require a bracket across the vertical supports, and on horizontal board across the back side helps to stabilize the entire rack. Nice Product. Good LUCK. Cliff

Clumsy and Flimsy

Obviously not what I expected. I have owned similar items in the past that were simple to assemble and very strong--not the case with this item. It is awkward to assemble and the capacity is not what it should be. Any amount of wood causes the item to stress and distort. The hardware they include is not correct for this type of item, I would keep searching because there are nicer items out there.

We are HOPING that our purchase will fill our need at the cabin, however, we won't know until snow melts and ground thaws!
