I still cannot figure out if this radiates that much heat from the fireplace, though the cast iron should retain the heat far better than the bricks were doing, so I am hoping this is doing the job.

I should have bought one of these years ago. It looks great in the fireplace but the heat that is sent out into the room is fantastic. Really warms up nice. Delivery was very timely. Thank you! Grace.

Product was expected. As it is solid castiron did not expected any defects. Weather here has not been cold enough for fires yet so cannot rate how well product stands up to a hot fire....no problems expected. Design is as shown and meets my expectations. Price was reasonable. Delivery was by Fedex, I have had some problems with Fedex in past and had additional problems with this package. Not Woodlands fault. Woodland.....I would recommend you dropping Fedex for UPS, I have never had a problem with them.

I love this cast iron fireback, I wish I would have bought it sooner.

Product has been in use for 2 months with fires about 3X per week. Product has already cracked along the bottom to a height of 3inches. I think this was a very cheaply made product.

Shipping was timely. Product received was as advertised and we were very pleased. However, after a few good fires the fireback has cracked at the bottom and the crack is slowly increasing. Not sure if it is a product defect or my fires are too hot.

Love the Fireback!!! We had some crumbled brick at the back of our fireplace and did not want to replace them for now. The Fireback not only keeps those bricks from further direct heat, but increased the amt. of heat coming into the room. A great purchase for us.

Not a very good product

The fireback cracked about halfway down the very first time we used our fireplace with it.

Very please with the value and quality. Had a crack on delivery and Woodland got it replaced pronto with very little effort on my behalf. Because of their quick resolution, I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

The fireback arrived with a big crack in the middle from the top down. I called customer service the next day. They apologized and asked for photos of the damage which I emailed them that day. They sent us another one right away and we didn't have to return the damaged one (thank goodness because it is soooo heavy). The second one arrived quickly and had no problems. It looks and works great. Thank you to customer service for a quick and easy resolution to the problem. We also ordered a grate and feet and they arrived in good condition the first time.

I love the fireback. I had been looking at antique Firebacks, however the prices were way beyond our budget. I "settled" for the Hopewell fireback. I am so thankful that I did. It is beautiful and has an antique look and feeling to it for a fraction of the price. My cooking area looks like an old walk-in fireplace and I used the fireback behind my stove as a back splash. It looks amazing. Everyone that sees it loves it and wants to know where it came from. Your service was great as well. I received my shipment just days after I placed the order. This is a great item. I love the way it reflects the heat, but is also decorative! It is heavy and adds a lot to our fireplace.
