48" black iron log hoop

Like the product. Very well made and attractive. However, in your catalog another 48-inch log hoop that appears to be identical (although made by a different manufacturer) claims it will hold up to 1/4 cord of wood. By implication, you'd think that would be true of an identical product, but nothing could be further from the truth. The one I have doesn't hold half of that. I think you should change the text in the description of the offending hoop (and add it to all others) stating that it (they) could hold up to 1/8 cord of wood.

Log holder great, but did not give the 5 rating because I also ordered a log carrier which never came in the order. I am pretty sure I did not pay for the second item so did not really bother to reorder it. Thanks for the log holder, however. S

Wood Hoop

I've learned that you get what you pay for. This was a no brainer. Quality. Quality. Quality. The Customer Care, service, shipping, and handling were superior in every respect. I wish all of my transactions were as smooth as this one. Iron. "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." Need I say more? :)

Ive seen some of my friends log holders and they don't campare to the strength and style this one has. It costs more but it will last for decades

Stronghold Log Loop

Well built, easy to put together and very strong. Holds a lot more wood than I thought it would. It is a must have for outdoor storage! I use it right outside my slider to store wood for immediate use in the fireplace. I would highly recommend this hoop!

Poor quality

I am giving this one star for two reasons. 1st. Website says that no assembly is required. It comes in a box and DOES require assemble. 2nd, it is not sturdy as solid.

Quality, but light duty

I was very impressed with the quality of the product but found it to be too light-duty.

Nice metal, crappy machining, bummer assembly.

I managed to put this together, however a few of the screw holes were tapped really poorly. Two out of 8 screws wouldn't thread at all. The holes had been drilled crooked, burrs were never filed off, just painted over. I had to file off the burrs (thus removing the paint) and retap 2 holes to get the screws to thread properly. I would give this hoop rack a better rating if I hadn't run into these disappointing assembly problems.

Modern Functionality

We’re really pleased with this log holder. It’s easy to put together, well made and beautifully designed. It was sold out last year when I tried to buy it, but none of the similar round log holders were as aesthetically pleasing. I’m glad I waited until it came back in stock.
