The Hearth Craft Essentials Alexander Glass Fireplace Doors are a great match for your masonry fireplace. Bring classic old-world style into your house with an attractively priced masonry fireplace door. These modern fireplace doors blend timeless beauty with modern style to complement any kind of space. The doors are fitted with 3/16-inch-thick, smoke-finished tempered safety glass that hides your firebox when not in use. To make sure these steel fireplace doors last a lifetime, they are created using heavy-duty, 16-gauge steel that is 1 3/4-inch wide and 1-inch deep. The Alexander Doors are custom-cut to fit fireplaces of all sizes and are designed to be installed on a flush or raised hearth above the firebox.

Create an impressive, picture-perfect centerpiece that stands out like a page from a magazine. The cabinet-style doors with Tudor double arched window pane openings are reminiscent of traditional European architecture and craftsmanship. With this decorative design in place, you can achieve the look of an arched fireplace without any construction involved! Premium easy-grip handles allow for smooth door control, while the dampers are concealed for a clean, unobstructed view. If you’d like to keep your doors shut while you have a fire going, the tempered glass can withstand temperatures of up to 400 degrees. (For your safety be sure that the fire doesn’t get hotter than 400 degrees and remains at least 6 inches away from the glass at all times.) As an added safety bonus, removable mesh panel doors with easy-catch magnets are included to prevent stray sparks from jumping out of the firebox.
