Woodland Timbers Log Set
This set is exactly what we needed for our fireplace. We did need a turn on/off valve which I assumed was part of the package. We were sent one. The service and help from you was great. I have recommended your company to a couple friends.
Beautiful log set. Fast delivery. Would certainly do business with Woodland again.

New Gas Log Set
I was very happy with the speed of delivery of our new gas log set. It arrived only a few days after submitting the order online. Everything was included in the order, nothing missing. The set was well-packed, so there was nothing broken. The technician we hired installed it and we had it burning before the morning was over. I'm very pleased with the beautiful new gas log set from Woodland Direct!
Purchase
Everything came as ordered and arrived timely. Salesman was very courteous and professional with extensive knowledge.
Winner in so Many Ways!
My wife and I have built four homes over the years, but decided to purchase an existing home for our most recent move. Of course when you move into someone else's 20+ year old home design, there are lots of items you want have to change or upgrade. One of the items we ran into was the fireplace. It was a beautiful floor to ceiling brick masterpiece in the living room, so we wanted to make sure we did it justice. It was built for real wood and had been used over the years. In our several homes we built, we had one real wood burning stove, which when we built our next two homes after that, transitions to gas inserts. We liked the idea of NOT having to haul wood, but didn't want to spend several thousands of dollars on an insert. So, we did our homework and discovered Hargrove Gas Log sets. Are we ever happy that we made the decision to purchase this set. The difference between the Hargrove set up with the Radiant Heat Shield and all the others that are simply log sets, is amazing. It was very easy to install (took about an hour), and operates very well. The burning embers, and the lava rock base make it look like a real wood fire and the "popping" sound made by the flames rolling off the logs sounds like a real wood fire. Needless to say we are very happy customers and would recommend this to anyone wanting to have a real wood fire look, an easy system and best of all, a great deal of radiant heat.
Woodland Timbers
I bought the Woodland Timbers 21" log set. Set up was really easy, the directions were pretty clear but the video from Hargrove was the best as far as positioning the logs. If you watch the video they show a time lapse of how the fire changes and the logs glow, it is totally true. The flame at light up is blue, after 15 min or so it changes to a goldfish yellow which looks real. This set is also radiant heat set which is what we needed in our basement rec room. This set looks real and the heat output is awesome. Would 100% recommend.
Woodland Timbers 21"
The Woodland Timbers natural gas log is just what we were looking for. It is a radiant heat set which is what we needed for our finished basement and it really put out some heat. When you first light the set it has a blue natural gas like flame, after about 15min it has a realistic yellowish flame and the logs glow, just like the video shows on the web site. I definitely recommend this set but if you don't want a lot of heat maybe a non radiant set. I installed this myself, it was very easy, I used the online video as a guide.
24inch Woodland Timbers
My logs haven't been installed yet but I do want to share this information. I wanted a substantial log pile so I ordered this stack because the distributor said it had 18 logs. I was very disappointed when the logs arrived and there were only11. I called the distributor thinking that I had received the wrong set. He called Hargrove and was told that the seven little "chunks" each the size of a piece of charcoal were considered logs too. They certainly don't look like logs nor will they bulk up the log stack as I was hoping. I hope that once the logs are installed I can come back and give this set a better review but for right now I feel like it has been misrepresented.
H-burner
The H-burner is an excellent option that should not be passed up. It brings a special presentation to the logs when they are burning. A small price for a big effect.
Poor Instructions
Once installed it was not a bad product but their instruction manual was so confusing the manual had numbers but the parts themselves had no corresponding numbers. Its guesswork all the way, and I won't recommend this product to anyone. It was a bad recommendation from your company.

Yes ! They are propane !
We have lived in our vintage home for 7 years with a fireplace we did not want to burn wood in. We have had numerous homes and burned wood in masonry fireplaces as well as fireplace inserts. The memories of hauling stacking going to get it off the pile in the cold. The popping of embers on carpet, the back waft of smoke on a bad wind day, the mess of gently cleaning the ash out well we just didn’t want to deal with any of that not to mention having to start the fire and have anxious concerns when we left or the house to run and errand or even when went to bed. So after my parents built a new home they installed a ventless propane set. We thought it was nice but it just didn’t look as real as we expected. Then sometime later we looked at the thought of adding gas logs and discovered the vented sets looked so much more real ! The only difference I can really see it you don’t hear the sounds associated with a wood fire. The look is there with the lick of the flames, the glow of the embers, the heat radiance, the ambiance of the fireplace is fantastic ! But what’s even better …. No more trips to the wood pile in the cold wet winter, no shut the screen so it won’t pop and burn the floor, no more fighting wet wood to start, no more carrying an ash bucket thru the house. Best of all when you turn it on its on and when your done or leave the room you just turn it off. No more concerns. As for having to block the flue open. Well our fireplace was built before they put dampers in. We LOVE it !
