The hearth rug is very attractive and just the right size. We picked this one because it was the most fireproof and therefore the safest. My complaint is that my daughter sat on it to be near the fire and when she got up she was itching all over. She had to immediately take a shower, wash her clothes, and apply skin cream to calm her skin down. You could see flecks of fiberglass all over her clothes. I wish we had known this ahead of time and we would not have purchased this rug. We have a dog who likes to lay near the fireplace, as well as three young grandchildren. Now we have to watch to make sure they don't even step on the rug! We will probably be getting rid of this rug and purchasing a different one.

We are very happy with our new half moon fiberglass hearth rug. It doesn't curl at all & is a very nice color, lightweight & easy to store. If I had one complaint, it is that it wants to "walk away" from our hearth. This may be because it is on top of a dense carpet. I plan to try some rug tape on the flat side to see if it stays in place better. I think that it will.
