How many BTUs should my burner have? 

Each burner is rated for a specific British Thermal Unit (BTU) capacity. It’s important to make sure your gas line can handle the BTU capacity of your burner, otherwise you’ll end up with low flames and heat. 

Whether you’re using an existing gas line or installing a new one, the professional you’re working with will need to know the BTU capacity of your burner to ensure your gas line is the right size. 

Does my fire pit need ventilation? 

Yes, your fire pit should have at least two built-in vents (one on each side of the enclosure). Ventilation allows for proper airflow and water drainage. It also prevents gas and heat from building up inside of your fire pit.
