Log set and burner

Pleased with the set - have enjoyed it in the cool weather. However, was dissapointed in the delivery and lack of communcation as to when it was shipped and expected delivery. Got the logs within a week of order but did not receive the burner and no mention of its delivery. Took more than 3 weeks from order before I recieved the burner. Would have appreciated an e-mail letting me know of the second shipment and expected delivery.

Vent Free Gas Log set

Extremely happy with the look and operation of the gas log set I purchased. This was actually a blessing in disguise because our chimney top and chimney liners were in such poor condition, that if we did not have to have a damper installed for the log set, CO2 coming down the chimney and back into the house could have been an issue. But as far as the log set goes, very happy and I turn it on evenings a great deal.

Vent Free Gas Log

Purchased Empire because made in USA. Have not yet actually used this gas log set. Therefore, comments are not related to satisfaction of performance with product. First, packaging of the burner is insufficient. Empire needs to rethink their packaging and attach the burner assembly to a plywood base for shipping. I had purchased two burners, both required straightening of the sheet metal frame before installation. Second, the logs are refractory cement. This is good, but unfortunately the manufacturing tolerance for the log dimensions must be extremely hard to control due to the irregular contour of the logs. The logs do not stack and nest together as perfectly as they should. A little disappointed in this aspect. Sorry, but I expect a bit more uniformity.

He systematically walked me through the process and sizing of my new log set, worked with me to accommodate my shipping needs and when I emailed him on tracking details - responded within an hour. Not only did it get to my home on time - it actually got here early. The set was easy to install, went in as described and works perfectly - and looks amazing. Beautiful log set. Customer service was excellent. Set solved our previous odor problem from The "builder special" log set. This unit burns beautiful with no side effects.

Replacement logs

The logs arrived quicker than we expected! Which was great!The decorative embers help to make it the most realistic fire that we've ever had from gas firelogs. Have not noticed smell or soot.. We did get a carbon monoxide detector for extra safety .. would recommend to a friend..

Propane frpl insert

Very happy with finished product. Was simple and here in 3 days.

replacement log set

The woodland direct sales rep was extremely helpful in ordering the proper unit for our fireplace and showed us all the log set choices to choose from. He made it very easy and stressfree ordering our replacement unit. Plus it arrived right on time. Great customer service and we're also happy with the quality of the unit.

Gas logs

Third time was the charm! First two orders came with broken logs but replacements were immediately supplied. Love the look!

Impressive!

Everything is working great. Initially it took a while for the propane to reach the burner assembly but once the pilot lit, everything worked as it should. The only comment that I have is no warranty information came with the logs and burner. Do you fill out the warranty documents for me or will you send me something to submit?
