Fireplace grate

Great product, great price and awesome customer service. I looked for a grate at all our local stores but was unable to find a quality product. I found this grate online called the number and the person on the other end spent a good 20-30 minutes educating me on the different types of grates and recommended the perfect grate for my needs. WoodlandDirect far exceeded my expectations.

After three weeks this grate fell apart, it looks like poor steel was used because it looks like a U-boat.

Hi Thanks for the Lifetime Grate. It was easy doing business with you guys even though the item had to be delivered to Australia. My only piece of constructive feedback would be the level of packaging. As the item I purchased was made from heavy guage steel it suffered no damage but it looked like it would have caused damage to anything it travel with as the packaging was not really suitable for international delivery. It should have been in a timber grate . I love the great and its exactly as described on your website. A pleasure to doing business with you. regards Andrew

GREAT product!

I now own 4 of these grates for my 4 wood burning fireplaces. Great product and service. I have had to get 2 grates replaced due to VERY HOT fires and extended use. Wonderful looking Fire grate

I ordered this grate late summer so haven't had the opportunity to use it yet, however at an approx weight of 50lb's this is a very substantial grate, it is nice and deep it's the biggest grate I've ever owned. There's no doubt in my mind this will serve me well and I'll never have to buy another grate again for this home. Highly recommend it if your on the fence.

The 36" grate is perfect for our fireplace. It had been difficult to find a grate large enough for our fireplace & one heavy enough. This one is perfect & am enjoying using it. I would highly recommend choosing Woodland if you are looking for a well made heavy duty fireplace grate.

First Time Buyer

I have been looking for a quality grate for a while. This grate fits perfectly in our fireplace. Big enough for nice sized backlogs. Order arrived quickly. Biggest problem I had was moving a 50+ pound grate into the fireplace. Expect it to last a long time.

Quality Product

The grate is exceptionally high quality. Can it last a lifetime? Probably depends on your life span but it is a high quality product. The packaging was very poor. I'm very lucky that the box even held together and the grate didn't show up on my doorstep in no box. The box was beat and torn with part of the grate hanging out.

Heavy Duty

We have not had cool enough temperatures for a fire yet but when I opened the box to lift out this grate I can tell you it is unlike any I have had in the past. It is very sturdy and heavy for its size and I am looking forward to years of use with this amazing grate.

Great quality and guarantee

I am so pleased with the quality and sturdiness of this grate. We have an oversized fireplace that we use often and after 40+ years our old grate had melted through! This grate and company was recommended by our chimney sweep. The employees of the company were all also pleasant and easy to deal with as well.

Wider than most fire grates

The problem with most fireplace grates is that they are made with too wide a distance between the supporting members thus causing a lot of embers to fall right through them to the bottom of your fireplace. This one is not only wide enough to cover your entire fireplace base but members are closer together to allow the coals to stay in place until burned completely. Congratulations on that point. I would’ve given it a five if they werecloser yet! But I’ve never found one! So, as fire grates go this one is as good is as you’ll find.

How does my Grate Hold Up in an Outdoor Fireplace - :)

I have this grate in a large outdoor fireplace where it is exposed to Fire, Wind, Rain and Snow. It many times has to go from 30 Degrees to a Fire Temperature in minutes. It has done so with breaking welds or warping. I have recommended this product to my neighbors and kids. It is a great product!
