I just finished installing my chimney cap. What breeze this project was. The instructional video was a great help and made it easy for me to prepare the cap and install it. The quality of the materials is terrific. I'm very pleased with the service and product I received from WoodlandDirect.

Installation

The product itself, is very well made, customer service was great, etc. HOWEVER, during the installation, it reads to bring everything to roof and assemble there. I'm glad I did in in my living room first. Where the bolts on the base go throgh the little holes to hold on the top...they are facing 90 degrees (Straight up), however, the pitch of the roof is not. I had to bend the top strip of the base that the bolts were attached to, to get the roof on and bolted down flush. The mounting strip on the top of the base that mounts to the 'roof' should be the same pitch as the roof.

Damaged on Delivery

You were very prompt in manufacturing and shipping, however it had multiple dents due to poor packaging materials that resulted in dents on this beautiful and expensive Cap. Please make sure you do a better job protecting pieces from each other.

Copper Stack Cover

Materials great, construction acceptable, cost on the high end but is custom. Only complaint was no assembly instructions included but pieces were marked somewhat . Took some trial and error to put together properly. Otherwise would have given a 5.
