I like the design, and that's about it. The product has the cheapes and poorest possible quality, and all for a measly few cents of profit. 1) Made in CHINA; 2) fasteners/handle are so cheap they broke with one light turn of the wrench; 3)Made in CHINA; 4) I cannot see this fire pit lasting five years, tops...why do I feel that way??....see #5) MADE IN CHINA...POOR QUALITY, POOR MATERIALS, VERY DISAPPOINTED.

A+ --if you like a great hot fire this is the only fire pit to have-easy to clean- Love it

The firepit is adequate. Be aware that the only part of the unit that is cast iron is the leg assembly. The dish that holds the firewood is pressed and painted steel. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised at this price point but the information posted on the web site doesn't make this detail clear at all. Still, the firepit has so far successfully endured two months of light- to moderate use. Ask me in a year if it's still holding up.

Very disappointed as legs are beginning to rust after one month. Expensive for this low quality. Will have to try to paint them as unsightly

Comfort

I bought this fire pit because it has the largest burning area (bowl) for the most affordable price in my range. I bought this fire pit specifically for a memorial gathering I hosted in honor of my best friend who passed away of Alzheimer"s after 7 years in a nursing home ward. We cellerbrated her life and having a fire in the evening was comforting to all who gathered. I did modify the unit. I live in Washington state where we are blessed with ample rain. Before assembling, which was easy, I drilled a half inch hole at the bottom center of the bowl to allow for a drain. I use the fire pit in my yard. I made a hearth on the lawn using red garden bricks, which raised the pit another 3 inches much to my liking. I am happy with my purchase.

Washers are the wrong size

I don't believe anyone ever checked to see if the screws, nuts and washers were correctly sized. Someone needs to check the size of the washers as one size did not fit over the supplied screws. I had to go buy the correct size washer.

Great Design

This fire pit is very attractive and well built. It would get a 5 star, but a small amount of water was left in it after a rain. It rusted overnight! There are no drainage holes, so unless you cover it ALL the time, it will rust. Just like the less expensive Lowe's pits. Reviewing a fire pit in the first season of owning it isn't always accurate. Time will tell if it was worth the price! Maybe I'll send in a new review in a year or so...
