I bought this poker because it was one piece with no parts and I really like it. The only thing I wish was different was the hook at the end of the poker looks like it was welded on and I would rather have had the end split. It looks like it will break off, but so far so good. It is good looking and goes with the stove.

Just built a new mantel and entertainment wall. Enjoy a lot of fires over the winter and need a handy poker - not too heavy and not too long. Fireplace tool sets look good but not very useful and they take up space. A good simple poker is what I needed and I like this one as it rests nicely right along the side of the opening and I didn't need to mount a hook for it.
