Black Steel Log Brackets

The log brackets I purchased are well worth the expensive price of approx. $70.00 for each box of 2 brackets. They are the sturdiest and best made. I don't know what guage steel is used but they are well built. I initially purchased about 10 pairs about 17 years ago and added abouit 5 more pairs about 10 years ago. I use them for stacking wood in my basement and each rack will hold one comepletge cord but beings logs are mostly 18 inches long, each loaded rack will hold about 100 cu.ft. instead of the normal 128 cu. ft. All of the brackets I have purchased have lasted and are still being used. Only one bracket came apare at the braised/welded seam. When I purchased the entire batch of brackets, you couild get them for about $15.00 a pair, but now, well I mentioned that above. When I need something, I need something. Thank you.

Log Brackets

I have tried several types of brackets. These are much sturdier then the other (both metal and plastic). the 2x4's fit in these better too. I have had to shim others so they wouldn't lean too much. I have not put any load on them yet but they appear to do the job.

These brackets are made very well and work as advertised with dimensioned redwood 2x4s. I'm perfectly delighted and will buy a few more pairs - i have a lot of firewood to stack :)

I openned these yesterday but have not set them up yet. They seem well made. I was sble to slide a 2x4 into channrls and it fit firmly. This is what I wanted and expected.
