Good Product & Service
Have used once and then warm weather moved into Georgia -- will use more often soon. Really seamed to improve heat output -- also reduced excessive draw of cool air into room, maybe due partly to way installed close to rear chimney wall. Looks very good and very good price. I did also talk with a very helpful technical consultant at Woodland prior to the order. Dennis in Georgia

Item was exactly as described, good quality, looks great in the fireplace. Too bad it was made in China--is any thing made in the US anymore??

Cast Iron Eagle Back plate
This was a good purchase for our fire place. Reflects the heat of the fire back into the room amazingly. Plus added bonus of the protection at the back. Would recommend this along with the iron stand is a must.

My cast iron fireback radiates more heat into my family room.The wood burns slower and appears to last a lot longer. My family room feels much warmer and toastier. Thank you.
Cast Iron Fireback and Legs
We ordered the fireback and supporting legs from Woodland Direct. They came quickly and well-packaged. The fireback and legs are solid, heavy, and exactly what we wanted and expected. The only issue we had was with the installation of the fireback. If we tipped it forward as indicated with the use of the legs, it tipped too far forward and thus was unattractive and smoke curled out of the fireplace into the room. We now have it installed vertically and use a spacer to keep it from resting directly against the back of the fireplace. It took a bit of ingenuity and a few attempts to get this to work, but it's fine now and we're very happy with the result. It enhances our enjoyment of our fireplace and it will protect the back of our fireplace. Worth the money!
Fireback in the South
Had a fireback in my home in Maryland. Moved down South and discovered I didn't have one in my fireplace so I ordered one from Woodland Direct. It came in fine, installed great, and works wonderfully.
