I really love my fireplace screen. It looks fantastic against my slate fireplace. I like the craftsman look. Good quality. Shipping was fast and it arrived with no problems. A little pricey but worth it.

Assembled easily. Door magnets are quite strong, but the QA reports that the handle will not get hot - we have not tested yet - but it seems we may have to touch the top of the screen frame to get the door magnet to release. It measures exactly 44" and just fits our opening perfectly.

Customer service

We ordered the referenced fireplace screen and it arrived damaged and broken. Woodland Direct was quick to stand by their product and sent a replacement immediately. That says so much about the company and their commitment to customer satisfaction. I would recommend them to anyone.

we received our product about a week ago. box was slightly damaged but the fireplace screen was fine. setup was easy and straightforward. two suggestions I can think of. 1. I would like to install the unit semi-permananlty. I was hoping there was some hardware that I could use to firmly attach to the bricks...like some anchors that I would install in the brick mortar and then some pre-drilled holes I the screen frame along with some fancy black painted hardware...something like large wing nuts or something. 2. would like some way to lock the doors together...so that if a log rolls out and hits the doors that the doors don't fly open allowing the burning log to come into the room. overall I would say the product is a "good" value. not great because of the above mentioned and also the unit is not extemenly "beefy". quality is good just not real "weighty"

Fool me once...

The first screen I ordered came damaged. The second screen sent to me was also damaged. Recent reviews of this formerly highly thought of product suggested that I should have known. In fairness to the company, they were quick to respond to my complaints.

This is a good heavy quality fireplace screen I know I will love it even after I've made a fire
