fire place glass & hearth cleaner

we use our fireplace a lot. In the past I have always used steel wool and window cleaner on the glass door.. Your product got a wow the first time I used it. I love it and will only use it from now on. Thanks for making my job easier!!!!

Fireplace Glass & Hearth Cleaner

I would rate this product as only moderatly effective. It works best with a window razor scraper, followed by newspaper or paper towel. Before I started using the scraper, it was frustrating. However, it does help melt off the deposits on our fireplace glass albeit requiring several treatments. This is the $10 kind... next time I think I am going to buy the $20 kind from Woodland Direct.

Doesn't clean the toughest soot from glass - needs a razor blade. This said, I"ve burned wet wood. Might work just fine for that produced by dry wood

WOW! This works

During the first couple of uses of our new fireplace insert, the beautiful glass window became "stained" with dark residue. We were crushed. I ordered this cleaner and am so excited to see how quickly and thoroughly the glass is now. Thanks so much. It's a good sized bottle. EXCELLENT PRODUCT!

Excellent Product

This cleaner just sprays on, then soot and creosote can be wiped off with a paper towel while the cleaner is still wet. It can be used to clean the exterior of a woodburning stove as well. I used it on three woodburning stoves that have been through several heating seasons without a good cleaning, and I was quite pleased with the results.

Unfortunately, the cleaner did not remove the soot staining on my glass doors like I had hoped it would. It cleaned the doors but they remain stained.

Best recommendation received from Woodland Direct. Spray on and watch it lift the tar off the glass. Could use a better spray nozzle on the dispenser. It's difficult to control the spray pattern and keep it on the glass.

I received my order and the grate is installed and working well. The Kleer View Glass & Hearth Cleaner is an excellent product (what is left of it). It was unboxed or unwrapped and loose in the box with the grate. the spray cap was loose and more than half the contents were lost. So much was lost that The cardboard box the grate came in was soaked through on one end. Anthony Russo

It Works!

I got my chimney inspected a few weeks ago. I told my chimney guy that I liked my wood stove, but the dirty glass on it had much to be desired. He recommended your product, I tried it,* and it worked like a charm! *Spray it on, wipe, it works!
