ash separator

I use a lowes bucket head vacuum with the ash separator with no loss in suction power! Its well built.Should last a long time

vacuum arrived without the instruction manual and with the brush and another part missing. I called; the lady said she would ship these items.

Missing parts?

The filter plugged instantly. There were no instructions or parts listed. Is there a membrane between the bottom of the can and the filter or does this device need a bag?

Good product

It arrived with two accessories missing but WoodlandDirect shipped them to me after I sent a photo of the other parts that I received. Excellent customer service experience. The product itself is good but not 5-star-good. The lid of the separator is plastic, the HEPA filter is enclosed in fragile plastic mesh and the accessories except for the metal hose all have a cheaper feeling to them. However they still look like they will function well and for the price it is a good deal.

Ash Buster Ash Separator

This is hard to use for one person. It is very cumbersome. I would not purchase it again. I would pay the extra to get a combined unit with vacuum and ash separator.

Meh - Mostly Works

Got this a few weeks ago, the guage of the hose is too small and tends to clog up with larger chunks of ash. A little (messy) work with a coathanger does the trick, but I probably wouldn't buy this again.
