The associate that talked me into buying this item was absolutely correct. I needed an adapter but was not sure if this had the thread-type that I needed. He asked me a couple of questions about the rods I was using and he was able to guarentee that this was the type of adapter I needed. When it arrived I tested it and it fit perfectly. just what I needed

Just what I needed. Didn't want to buy a new brush to fit my rods, or rods to fit my brush. Too bad the shipping was about the same if not more than the item.

3/8" to 1/4" reducer

Worked perfect extending the 3/4" rod with my 1/4" rods.

Flue Brush and Adapter

Bought the 6" diameter poly flue brush and the rep. recommended I buy the adapter in case I had the wrong size rods, good thing! I needed the adapter! Job was a breeze. Thanks

1/4 to 3/8 fitting
