When I received my "Custom-made, oversized Fireplace Screen" in Mid-October from you folks, I was very impressed with the quality! It is now December 20th and I'm still loving it. Classic Single Pane Fireplace w Glass

I felt the website did a poor job of leading me through the measuring process. If I had not called the company I would have sent the wrong measurements. We bought this to be used in front of a gas fireplace when the logs were not lit. Mass requires the damper to be removed or locked in an open position thus the need for a "blocker." This screen still does not fit tightly to the opening because of the "clamps" used to secure the glass to the frame. The clamps make the product stiick out from the fireplace surround by about 1/4-1/2" around the entire product. This was a VERY expensive product and I am disappointed at how it fits and the poor website. Michael Angelastro Massachusetts

I have nothing but positive things to say about the single panel fireplace screen we received. It was manufactured exactly to the specifications requested and delivered within the time frames promised. The assembly requirements were minimal (which is good since there were no instructions included). The screen is sturdy and looks great. We were also impressed and heartened by the "thank you" note included from the Stolle Fireplace Inc. which identified the the company's goals and values.

Oil Tubbed Bronze Powder coat finish

Rate the finish on the single panel as a very professional application with no flaws, runs or dimpling. Finish on panel is smooth to the touch & was well protected from damage during shipment by the amazingly careful packaging it which it arrived. Company took extra precautions to insure the finish wouldn't be damaged by rough handling in transit

Wire mesh

This 3rd component of the single panel fire screen we ordered demonstrates high caliber material & workmanship. The mesh is very rigid & strong with a nice smooth finish . The frame that it is encased in is of the same high quality construction & finish. The mesh does not bend & is well installed in it's frame (no jagged edges protruding, etc). Likewise, the frame is rigid & smooth to the touch so cleaning the whole unit will be easy & with no risk of being scratched or poked by sharp edges. Again a high rating for the care that went into fabricating it to the exact dimensions of the custom panel made specifically for our fireplace opening.

Hearth screen

We could not be happy with the Hearth screen we had mad by Woodland Direct. We purchased and older home and did a major remodel including completely refurbishing the wood burning fireplace. The hearth is so large that our only option was a custom screen. It turned out beautiful and we could not be happier with the product. Thank you!!

Gorgeous screen, screwy hardware

Exactly what we wanted style-wise. Elegant, simple, beautiful quality materials. But on one side the holes weren't drilled in the right place so we couldn't properly screw on one of the feet. Not worth the hassle to send back so we will live with it, but given the high price for a custom piece, it is frustrating.

We like it. The size is right. It balances well. The only unexpected- I was seeking a finish with some gray in it and the color I chose appeared to have that, and to have a little variation in the finish color. The screen I received is more of a brown tone and no variation. But it looks fine. I'd suggest your color samples may not be true. At least the one I chose. Just FYI.

Custom screen

I Love my new custom built screen, it's made with quality and attention to detail. Jason, in C/S worked with me through many emails to select what works best for my very odd sized gas fireplace. After looking at doors I decided a glass fronted screen was best. The selection process was easy and the end product arrived on time and in perfect condition. Quality materials were used and the packing of the product was superior.

Good product/service

Ordered a custom fireplace screen from Woodland. A series of hard to believe errors by the manufacturer and the shipper slowed delivery a bit, but Woodland staff were very responsive and did what I expected a professionally managed firm to do. At the end of the day, the product is exactly what we wanted and we would certainly order from Woodland again.

Great screen/grate. Clean and strong

We bought a custom size with the perforated screen and it was great (pardon the pun)! It is very well made and the perforated mesh lets lots more heat and light into the room. The flush style also freed up some of our hearth for sitting! Very happy with it.

Quality Craftsmanship

Very nice for it's purpose

We have a fireplace in our bedroom that we don't use (and probably never will again) that always had an ill-fitting screen in front. It's very difficult to find a custom fitted screen for an odd size opening that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Woodland Direct provided a classic fireplace screen in the exact size we needed for a reasonable cost. It's not the fanciest screen you can purchase, but it suited our purpose very well. It comes in a variety of colors with several screen options and even a couple of leg choices. It seems well made and fit just like they promised. It does take a few weeks to arrive, but remember, it's custom built.

Simply Perfect!
