8"DuraPlus Chimney Cap

The Cap is very flimsy and is a pain to get off to sweep chimney. Do not like the snap in function which makes it hard to take cap off.

I am very satisfied with the cap. It is well made.

Negative comment

the cap was difficult to seat completly onto the pipe. It was flimsy and when I used enough force to get it on it was crushing.Feel like I need to add ascrew to keep it from blowing off in a strong wind.

Chimney

I would like to Thank You for all your help and support. The Chimney process was very easy to install. After having a chimney fire in early spring we were looking for a safer way to burn wood in our stove. This was a great alternative to the standard brick chimney. Thanks for the help.

Nice SS cap

Love this cap but wish the top cap was a larger diameter , to prevent rain intake down chimney, in extreme weather situations . Tks Randy Mowry .

This cap was a very snug fit.
