Catalog Presentation
The stove pipe and elbows are very satisfactory. Heavy gage steel and superior blacking make them work and look good. However, the catalog presentation picture is NOT a picture of what I recieved. It is a picture of the adjustable ell. The fixed ell is a corragated pipe bent to 90 degrees. It works just fine but it would have been nice if the pic showed what was being shipped.

Even though these elbows are fixed. you can see light through the joints. On a ppwer vent boiler they will leak. On a natural draft boiler they would probably be fine. They are nothing more than adjustable elbows that are crimped at the joints. If you need leak free elbows buy solid ones.

The quality of this unit is very impressive. I paid a bunch ($32) but I wanted 22 gauge. Another nice attribute to this elbow is the fact that you cannot see the seams. They are brazed, grinded smooth and painted...very high quality. They even came with four painted stove pipe screws...a nice touch!
