This fireplace grate is sturdy and very heavy duty. We had trouble finding a large sized one to fit our fireplace, so this was important. We did not want a large flimsy piece of metal. This totally exceeded our expectations.
Awesome Fireplace Grate
I have a very large, double-sided fireplace (openings are 48 wide x 33 high). I needed a big, sturdy grate to match. I chose this grate because it looks the same from either side & is not tapered. Plus it has center legs to stop the grate from deforming under heat. Bottom line: this thing is stout, massive & durable. Would buy again.
