27" Hex grate gets it done

I ordered this product for an in-ground fire pit in our patio. I wanted to allow air under the logs (to help it burn better) and to raise the fire up a bit. The Hex Grate works great... fits the fire pit wonderfully, is sturdy, looks good... nothing but good things to say. I'm very happy.

Grate is great and already been used. The only problem was that the package box was torn and open at one end. Thankfully, the grate was sturdy enough to withstand the shipping damage.

Shipment came quickly, bax was severely damaged but grate was in excellent condition (releived!). Hardscaper/Landscaper who built firepit and I both agree, nice shape for a round firepit, good design, quality construction. Hope to build a fire on it soon. I would buy from you again and would recommend you.

Hex Shaped Grate

We had a round fire pit built in our backyard this summer. We were concerned about finding a round grate to fit it...when we spotted your hex shaped grate, we were very excited. The grate fits our round pit beautifully! It has been too hot in AZ to build a fire yet, but we're hoping to be able to build the first one on Halloween! Thanks!

Great product!

Wish it was made in USA

I purchased this unit thinking it was made in the USA. It came shipped in a pre-packaged box from China ... I was disappointed with that, specifically because I will use this for fire pit cooking and I feel I will have the need to test the unit to ensure it is food safe. It is heavy and does not move easily. It is an excellent shape for the circle fire pit I have and worked as expected. It will not tip over.

Fire Grate

The outdoor fire grate allows us to stack wood and create a great fire for everyone around the fire pit to enjoy. It is sturdy enough and wide enough to build a large fire in our pit so we can have many people outside getting heat from the pit. The grate also is elevated allowing the fire to breathe and get enough oxygen.

Sturdy

Overall, we are happy with the product. It's very sturdy and fits well into our firepit. We were a little surprised with the fact that the material appears to be rusting already after only using the pit 3 times (it is outdoor so it has been exposed the elements). I would have expected the black coating to remain for a while longer. It certainly doesn't impact the performance and once the logs are on there, you can't even tell so it's not a huge deal. I just notice it more when the grate is empty.

27" Hex Shape Fireplace Grate

After searching the internet for the best choice of grates for my fire-pit, I decided to buy the 27" hexagon shaped grate. I needed one that would fit into the 30" fire ring that I used to build my fire-pit. I don't remember ever ordering a product online and actually getting much more than I expected. This grate is built from 3/4" X 3/4" inch steel and it is a genuine work of art. I feel qualified to say that because I'm a welder and I appreciate quality work. Even the black finish is top quality! You won't be unhappy with this well-made product!!!
