I am very pleased with my grate. It is exactly what I was looking for. A little pricey but for the money I think it will outlast my last three grates that I have picked up at a local hardware store.

18" ZC Stack Log Grate

We have a Vigilant II Coal Stove by Vermont Castings that had problems with smoking because there was no grate in the stove. This barely goes into the stove (1" smaller each way would work better) but it does fit, makes the wood burn better, and has greatly reduced the smoke in the room. Great product and very quick delivery.

Purchased an 18 inch ZC cast-iron grate from Woodlnd. After about 15 minutes the first time I used it, there was a loud "cracking" noise and one side split open. Called Woodland and Steve Moffat contacted me. Told me to send him pictures of split and in a few days received a new grate at no charge. Grate works fine in my Rumford fireplace and I cannot say enough about service provided by Steve.
